Four Sylvan pattern scenic dinner plates by William Brownfield & son. The enameled plates depict wildlife in their natural settings. Very nice ironstone Polychrome English jug or pitcher. Oriental "Pekoe" pattern, also known as "long tail bird" pattern. Measuring 5 1/2 inches at the handle, and in wonderful condition with typical fine crazing and slight lose of orange enameling at the lip edge. Cobalt crown mark with Ashworth Bros, Hanley, England on bottom. Circa 1880s. Also available are 4 dinner plates and a tab handle serving dish in this same pattern.
Wonderful set of four 8-1/2" luncheon plates with an autumn floral theme. Beautifully decorated in hand enameling and gilt, the plates all having the same theme, were not made to be exact duplicates, but to compliment each other. Each has the mark for the prestigious Davis Collamore and Co. Ltd., 921 Broadway, New York, with "Brownfields China".
